Paco and Cole recently signed up for Cub Scouts. Cole is wildly beyond excited. He is very excited to be a "wolf", and he is in Troop 464. Their regular meetings don't start back up until September, but today they went and got Cole's uniform and handbook. Again, I must stress the wildly beyond excitement statement. He locked himself in his bedroom for a half hour getting himself dressed, and wouldn't let anybody help him. Ultimately, he did allow his Dad to help him a little!!
Scout meetings won't resume until September, but they are having a campout on the outfield of the Spokane Indians baseball stadium in August. Paco and Cole will get to set up their tent on the field and camp out for the night. They are both excited! There will also be a bonfire this summer. Paco was a scout so this is all very meaningful to him. He was a little teary eyed seeing Cole in his uniform tonight...it was sweet!
