Friends, it has been a busy couple of days. On Tuesday my Mom had neck surgery. All went well, and she is working on recovering. It will take some time, but hopefully this will be the start of a better chapter for her medically-wise. She was able to go home today! Hooray! She has to spend the next 6 weeks in a neck brace, and can't drive for 12 weeks. Please say prayers for a speedy recovery for her! Love you Mom!
My knitting is coming right along, although it does have quite a bit of "character", if you catch my drift! I'm making a scarf for Cole, and I know he'll love it. With any luck it may actually be done by the time winter rolls around.
We are starting to prepare for our trip to Glacier. Paco and I have been there but this will be the kids first trip. They are looking forward to more camping! Next month will bring more camping, cub scouts father/son sleepover on the Indians baseball field, and a trip to Grandma and Grandpa's cabin as well. Not to mention that Cole and Gracie are heading to Sweyolakan next month for day camp. I went there as a girl and have great memories. Can't wait to see what they think! I get emotional just thinking about it!
Oh, and just one more little thing ... Mr. Sutton turns 34 this Saturday! Give him grief!
